Upcoming Classes at the Quilt Peddler

Summer is winding down and what better time to learn a new skill or technique than before that cold winter air sets in. The Quilt Peddler is facilitating a variety of classes for beginners and skilled quilters.

“Christmas Figs” Sampler Quilt Sew Along with Jean Fuller

Aug. 20, Sept. 17, Oct. 15, Nov. 19, Dec. 17, Jan. 21 1 - 4 PM cost: $45

In the guided sew along, you will be working on 2 - 16 1/2" blocks per month and finish with a 78 1/2" x 96 1/2" bed quilt.

Bargello Wallhanging with Terry Hanson

August 24 9 AM - 4 PM cost: $30 Quilting experience is preferred for this class.

Beginner Free Motion Quilting Class with Terry Hanson

September 14th 1 - 4 PM (Full)

October 12th 1 - 4 PM (Limit 12)

Cost: $15

“Ballycastle” Quilt Class with Terry Hanson

October 12, November 9th, and December 14 9 AM - 12 PM cost: $60/four sessions
Some experience is preferred for this class.

"Daybreak and Flying Geese" Paper Piecing and Reverse Applique Class with Terry Hanson

November 9th and December 14 1 - 4 PM cost: $30

Very Beginner Quilt Class - With Diane Reuter

October 1, October 8, October 15, and October 22 9 AM - 12 PM Cost: $75

This class is geared toward the true beginner. You will learns the ins and outs of cutting and sewing fabric together to make a small wall hanging. Skills included are understanding terminology, creating 1/4" seams, fast piecing, pressing, choosing fabric, reading a pattern, making a lattice, adding a border, making a quilt sandwich, binding, and many tips and tricks along the way!

All classes are run through the instructors privately and fees can be paid directly to them on the first day of class. The Quilt Peddler offers a 15% discount fabrics and supplies needed to participate in the class.
